Entertaiment | Word of the Day
A hospitable provision for the entertainment of guests; an agreeable occupation for the mind: such as a crossword puzzle. From the Latin, “entering,” a diversion, a diverting adventure, or amusement: a play by Shakespeare; a restaurant that offers fun food and entertainment; a performance intended for a public audience. The nature of entertainment evolves constantly and is capable of adapting to any scale, from a private moment to a banquet for two; to the creation of new art forms, or to performances designed for a global audience.
